This page documents all SEO improvements, content additions, and structural changes made to leadwithsafety.com on 2026-07-01. It serves as an internal reference and transparency log.

New Articles Published

Four articles from the drafts folder were published as full blog posts with proper SEO, excerpts, categories, and author attribution:

  1. When a New Alter Comes Forward: A Husband’s Guide to Meeting Your Wife’s Parts (Category: For Partners)
  2. When She Doesn’t Remember: Navigating the Amnesia That Comes with DID (Categories: For Partners, Understanding DID)
  3. Staying Regulated When a Protector Comes Forward (Categories: For Partners, Safety Framework)
  4. I Would Never Want Her Mind to Be Different: What DID Brought to Our Marriage (Category: For Partners)

FAQ Sections Added

Three core pages received structured FAQ sections with FAQPage JSON-LD schema markup for Google People Also Ask eligibility:

Meta Tags Added or Improved

  • Added og:image:alt to all pages and posts (Open Graph image accessibility)
  • Added twitter:image:alt to all pages and posts (X/Twitter card accessibility)
  • Added meta name="author" (Scott Beach, RPh, LCDC-II) to all singular pages and posts
  • Added article:section meta tag to all blog posts (uses primary category)
  • Added article:tag meta tags to all blog posts (uses post tags)
  • Added tags to all 13 existing posts for article:tag population

Schema Markup Added

  • BreadcrumbList JSON-LD schema added to all inner pages and posts (shows Home > Category > Post in search results)
  • FAQPage JSON-LD schema added to 3 core pages (eligible for rich snippet question boxes in search)
  • Existing schemas: Organization, WebSite, Person, Article/WebPage already present and unchanged

New Pages Created

Existing SEO Already in Place (No Changes Needed)

  • Meta descriptions (auto-generated from excerpt/content, trimmed to 155 characters)
  • Open Graph tags (og:type, og:url, og:title, og:description, og:image)
  • X/Twitter cards (twitter:card, twitter:site, twitter:creator)
  • Canonical URLs on all pages
  • Article publication and modification timestamps
  • Organization, WebSite, and Person JSON-LD schema
  • Article and WebPage JSON-LD schema on all singular content
  • XML sitemap at /wp-sitemap.xml
  • robots.txt with sitemap declaration
  • XMLRPC disabled
  • Favicon and apple-touch-icon

Content Research Gaps Identified

The following areas were identified as content opportunities for future development:

  • A dedicated OG social card image (1200×630) for all pages. Current fallback may not exist.
  • Featured images on blog posts would enable richer Twitter/OG previews per-post.
  • The Videos page (/videos) has no descriptive content (hosts video category posts but no page intro).
  • A dedicated page on switching and switching cues would address high-traffic search intent.
  • A page on DID and intimacy or DID and marriage would address partner search queries not currently covered.
  • An FAQ page or search landing page for common diagnostic questions: “do I have DID,” “how is DID diagnosed,” etc.
  • Internal linking between related articles could be strengthened site-wide.

Final SEO Pass Items

  • Sitemap confirmed active at /wp-sitemap.xml
  • robots.txt confirmed with Sitemap: directive pointing to /wp-sitemap.xml
  • All new posts will be indexed in sitemap automatically via WordPress core sitemap
  • Tag archives created for 13 posts across 20 subject tags
